Although kicking and punching manoeuvres are taught, Teakwondo is an action philosophy which is non-violent. The philosophy is about teaching entire body training, dicipline and character building.
Taekwondo is much more than kicking and punching. It is action philosophy designed as a complete non-violent discipline of entire body training and character building. By practicing Taekwondo, one will benefit in these ways:
- Physically mentally philosophically, good co-ordination
- Toning and reduction of weight, improved flexibility
- Cardiovascular conditioning, increased strength
- General fitness, self confidence, self-discipline, better judgment, self control, stress reduction, better self image, positive attitude
